This boot animation is for the Resident Evil lovers out there (I'm one of them!). It's the Umbrella Corp logo, animated as best I could :) . I think it turned out pretty well all things considered.

Created with Photoshop CS5 and After Effects CS5.

As usual, to set a new boot animation on your own computer (with Windows 7), you need the Win7BootUpdater program found here: [link] .

-IMP ;) :)

I am doing an Umbrella Corporation theme for my laptop and i was wondering if this was available in widescreen. It would be very much appreciated if it were.

hi, im new at redoing the animations on win 7 so please ignore my noobyness...but i cannot get it to work....when i click 'select bootres.dll' or 'select animation' neither one of them see the umbrella file....i even tried changing the open options to 'all files' so i could select it and it says 'the bootres file could not be read as a PE file'....
what am i doing wrong?

You need to select the folder containing the animation not the file itself.Select the folder and make sure it is the only activity.bmp file inside that folder. The program detects the animation within the folder.

alrighty i had to make a new folder cuz i just had the file on the desktop and it wasnt in a folder...and it worked after that...however when i restarted, the umbrella animation wont show...instead i get the vista loading bar, which is weird cuz i have win 7...

thanx for your help by the way

Did you use the correct version (64-bit only if you have 64-bit Windows, 32-bit if not)? Did you make sure test-signing was checked and set to {current}?
